This year I was featured in Milk's Holiday Gift Guide and at their womens founders show in Long Island City!

From their website:
Welcome to the third annual Milk Holiday Gift Guide. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to #shopfemale this holiday season. From innovative fashion brands designing jackets bras and bags for real women to menstrual and lactation support products, we have found a diverse mix of products made for and by women.
We asked each female founder to share a bit about her company and her story with us. These women are building the world they want to live in.
(P.S. Meet some of these women in person at Womyn, our holiday pop up in New York City on Dec. 15th. Scroll to the bottom for more details)

I'm really into supporting local shops, especially those who promote a  healthy mind, body or soul...so I jumped at the opportunity to show my work at Bar 'Bucha in Westport, CT.  Bar 'Bucha serves up the ancient fermented tea, kombucha from nationwide brewers who mastered the technique.  Rich in antioxidants its the perfect after yoga beverage, even better if you take some home with a Rockwater mug.

Blue Hill at Stone Barns

Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY is one of the most epic bucolic settings I have ever seen.  Walking the crops and hearing the tapping of my heels on the cobblestone floors, it almost feels as though I'm walking back in time.  A culinary delight and one of the pioneers of the farm-to-table revolution, Blue Hill is at the top of its game.  I am so happy to announce that Rockwater Pottery as joined in collaboration to make an exclusive mixing bowl set to be sold on their shop website, www.bluehillmarket.com.  Find the limited edition mixing bowls under the Kitchen -> Tools tab.

Collaboration with Isa's Restoratives

During the hustle and bustle of the busy Bustcraftacular holiday boutique hosted by Bust Magazine this past December, I had the fortune of meeting  Isa Brito, the owner of Isa's Restoratives.  Isa is a gifted herbalist and makes small batch beauty products from scratch.  She expressed interest and the need for small bowls for mixing her facial mask elixir and we came up with a sweet and classic design.  Each bowl is thrown with stoneware clay in either specked brown clay, toast, or chocolate and glazed with lead-free creamy white glaze.  I have the Matcha facial mask made with French green and kaolin clay which is simply divine.  I always have a chuckle when I apply it - usually I'm washing clay off me and here I am putting it on!

I had the pleasure of meeting co-founder of Verhaal Co., Philip Van Dusen at the Renegade Craft Fair this past June in Brooklyn.  I immediately loved the concept of his curated artisans and makers which make up his website www.verhaal.co.   Check out RWP in the "Sunday Morning" collection.  Makes me want pancakes...now.

"It's all about the presentation" my husband would say when it comes to serving food.  What better way to present your culinary creations than in Rockwater Pottery serving dishes.  Made to withstand heavy kitchen and serving wear, these pieces are designed to accent natures bounty with a backdrop of eggshell white glaze.  Serving pieces come in rustic shades of toast, chocolate, and rust and are beautiful as a collection or individually.

What a pleasure it was showing my work in my home town!  I had many laughs with my local neighbors and meet many fellow clay artists.  Despite the rain it was a very successful day!
